Job Description
What will you be doing?
Together with the CFO and the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for continuously improving the financial administration and ensuring the efficient processing of financial operations. You will manage the administration of multiple national and international entities, working closely with our overseas offices. You will have the autonomy to work on various projects, including the implementation of an expense and procurement tool and optimizing Exact Globe Next.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and receivable management;
- Invoicing and project administration;
- Tax filings and compliance;
- Month-end closing, including foreign currency revaluation;
- Assisting with annual audits and responding to auditors’ inquiries;
- Budget preparation;
- Financial reporting and analysis;
- Managing deferred revenue and accruals;
- Collaborating with international accounting offices within Exact Globe Next;
- Asset management and financial process optimization;
- Leading financial projects, such as tool implementations.
Job criteria
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, or Finance;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accountancy or financial administration, preferably in an SME+ environment;
- Experience with international administrations and multi-entity management;
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, comparisons, VLOOKUP);
- Knowledge of Exact Globe Next and Elvy is a plus;
- Experience with foreign currency transactions and revaluations;
- Excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- Resident in the Netherlands, preferably in the Utrecht/Culemborg region;
- Ambition to grow into a Business Control or Financial Control role;
- Assertive and strong communication skills, also in an international setting.
