Job description
The role is responsible for the operational work on the Core IT Infrastructure Authentication and Security Systems, including 3rd line support and will participate in relevant projects including standardising the ways of working for Infrastructure while transitioning to a Global IT Operating Model.
Your Accountabilities
Your Accountabilities
- Maintain, develop and implement the Core IT Infrastructure Authentication and Security Systems. This includes, but is not limited to, technologies like VMware, CommVault, storage, RDS, Azure, SQL, etc.
- Participate in technical research and development to enable continuity within the Infrastructure Security areas and support the senior engineer and architect with innovation and research on new technologies
- Work with the wider Global Infrastructure team to recommend and deliver continual improvements to operational procedures
- Participate in technical projects to improve and enhance services
- Support incident and Problem resolution
- Ensure internal processes and rules are followed and all activities are compliant with their standards.
- Manage operational aspects of production environments including Disaster Recovery, daily/weekly operational checks, updates, and services health
- Manage, maintain, and support the patch management process
Job requirements
- Experience supporting a large enterprise Windows platforms - Essential
- Knowledge of products like Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS - Essential
- Knowledge of products like Direct Access, AlwaysOn VPN, McAfee EPO, ADFS, Proxy, etc. - Essential
- Bachelor level degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience of thinking and working - Essential
- Experience of working as part of a customer and solution oriented team - Essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills in business English - Essential
- Team Player, Strong Communication And Social Skills - Essential
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and enterprise hardware - Desirable
- Knowledge of IT service delivery (ITIL) - Desirable
- Knowledge of IT service delivery (ITIL) - Desirable
