This international (American) organization manufactures and develops chips and software for, among other things, automobiles. The location at Schiphol covers an area of 15.000 square meters and employs 300 people. The majority of this workforce is engaged in logistics. Additionally, there are people working in the finance, HR, and technical design departments, as well as in security and catering.

The location is easily accessible by car and bus, and there is no shortage of parking spaces.

Job description

In the role of administrative assistant, you will support the purchasing manager. If an item needs to be purchased, the purchasing manager requests a quote from a supplier. As soon as this quotation is approved, you ensure that the purchase order is created in SAP. In your role, you will have regular contact with the suppliers and you will make (small) orders independently. Your main task is really to create PO numbers in SAP. You have a lot of contact with the purchasing manager and the finance department in Poland.

You work in a multicultural environment and the primary language within this organization is English. Some of the suppliers only speak Dutch, so a minimum level of Dutch is required for this position.

In this role, you work hybrid (1 day at the office and 2 days from home).

Job requirements

We are looking for someone with experience with SAP and Excel and good communication skills. Your English is fluent and you also understand the Dutch language.

Employment conditions

  • 24 hours a week (hybrid)
  • Contract until 31 December 2025
  • The salary is contingent on your education and work experience, ranging from €2,700 to €3,300 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek. Of course, there is a full travel expense reimbursement. You are entitled to 25 days of annual leave.

Initially, this is a secondment through Q-Logic.
