Functieomschrijving
In this role, you will be responsible for;
- Designing and developing both high-level and low-level network architectures to improve and replace the current environment;
- Advising management and stakeholders on network strategy, decisions, and roadmap
- Leading and coordinating the implementation of network projects and technical changes
- Developing a vision for networking within a hybrid cloud architecture (integration with AWS/Azure)
- Ensuring alignment between on-premises data center networking and cloud networking
- Promoting and helping shape network automation and the use of tools
Functie-eisen
Required knowledge and experience
- Proven experience as a Network Architect and/or Senior Network Engineer in data center, enterprise and/or ISP environments
- Experience in creating both high-level and low-level network designs
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MACsec, MC-LAG, routing and switching, and DNS
- Extensive experience with Juniper networking (JNCIP certification or equivalent)
- Experience with firewall solutions (Check Point)
- Experience with or knowledge of cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure) and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience with network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) and/or Source of Truth tools is a plus
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Hybrid working is possible, duration min. 12 months, with a rate between EUR 100 and 115 per hour, excl. VAT.
