Job description
The Financial Administrator is responsible for the execution of day to day financial activities within the IKEA Foundation and projects related to finance. Your work includes reporting, handling of data, ensuring compliance with tax and legal requirements, improvement of organisational procedures and providing financial support to departments. It is necessary to have eye for detail and challenge the current practices to help improve and professionalise the financial administration. A proactive and critical attitude is necessary. As Financial Administrator, you will be part of a small but enthusiastic team of people that are committed to making a difference. You will report to the Head of Finance.
Job requirements
- Manage the financial administration, including book-keeping, accounting, cash management, payroll and pension related activities;
- Collect and analyse data which is used in the preparation of periodic reporting;
- Prepare financial reports;
- Advise on and respond to financial inquiries of stakeholders;
- Manage financial closings and parts of the annual audit process;
- Contribute to the effective and efficient design of work processes and procedures.
You have:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting;
- Excellent planning, analytical and reporting skills;
- Proven project management experience;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting systems, Excel and Power BI (prior experience working with NetSuite is considered an advantage);
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.
