We are seeking a professional IT Business Analyst to strengthen the Foundation, from where we provide our services to all co-workers. You will be part of the IT and Security team (5 people).

Job Description

As an IT Business Analyst you are mainly tasked with managing and driving internal projects where IT is leading or stakeholder. You are also available to provide support to our co-workers by solving incidents as well as proactively working on improving our systems and services. You will be part of a small but enthusiastic team of people who are committed to make a difference, working closely together with the IT and Information Security team to grow and improve all IT aspects of the workplace.

Responsibilities;

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, and document business requirements for IT projects and initiatives;
  • Driving and managing IT (involved) projects, collaborating with the different stakeholders, both external as well as in the organisation;
  • Identify end-user training needs, organise and deliver trainings;
  • Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications and user manuals;
  • Providing first line IT support with other IT members and answering questions from our co-workers;
  • Registering incidents and changes in our service management tool.

The position is full time (38 hrs), based at the Foundation’s headquarters in Leiden, The Netherlands.

Qualifications

Profile:

  • You have a HBO or higher graduation;
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years’ of relevant IT experience;
  • You have demonstrable experience with managing IT projects;
  • Experience with implementing data analytics platforms is a big plus;
  • Able to work in a small team but also able to work on tasks independently;
  • You have knowledge of and experience with ITIL processes;
  • You have affinity with IT security and understand the balance between usability and security in the context of the Foundation;
  • You have a drive for change and are proactive in addressing ideas for improvements;
  • You are a good communicator and you are fluent English and preferred in Dutch;
  • And last but not least: you are a down-to-earth and fun colleague that likes to work in a team!
