As a Finance Manager, you will be part of a small, enthusiastic, international team committed to making a difference. You will work closely together with the CEO and with co-workers from all teams and disciplines.
As Finance Manager, you operate at the intersection of accounting and taxation. You have work experience in running an administration, preparing reports, and ensuring that all tax aspects are properly, accurately, and timely arranged. You do this together with a team of 2 co-workers.

Job Description

What will you do?
As a Fund Administrator you are part of a small but enthusiastic team of people who are committed to making a difference. You are in charge of the financial administration of the asset management portfolio. You are able to work independently while being part of a team. You are responsible amongst others for processing journal entries and reconciling bank and fund statements, preparing a variety of financial reports, and supporting the year-end closing process. You are able to work independently while being part of a team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager. You interact and communicate effectively with fund administrators, our custodian and other professionals. The position is full time, based at the Foundation’s headquarters in Leiden, The Netherlands.

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities

  • processing journal entries and reconciling bank and fund statements;
  • processing transactions in payment systems;
  • preparing quarterly board reporting;
  • preparing monthly and quarterly central bank reporting;
  • preparing back testing procedures;
  • supporting year-end closing process;
  • filing all documentation related to the fund administration;
  • performing other ad hoc accounting, administrative and project support.
